Save the date of June 8th, consider volunteering, and keep an eye out for future emails! This year’s Annual NCNPS Meeting & Picnic will be held on Saturday, June 8th at Pfeiffer University in Meisenheimer, hosted again by our Southern Piedmont Chapter. We can’t wait to come together again this summer and catch up! We’re planning fun, food, plants, awards — and did we say see you there?!

Last year, 195 of our members from across the state came together for the annual board meeting, plant sale, and plant auction, with live music and a potluck lunch. Charley Winterbauer also helped kick the day off with a wonderful presentation in the morning.

This year, the planning committee includes Craig Maxwell and Theresa Morr with Ellen Bird, Sara Byrd, Ed Davis, Carrie DeJaco, Carol Fox, and Jennifer Lee.

Future emails will have updates

Keep an eye out for future emails as our picnic planning committee works on making this our best one yet! Registration will open up later this spring. If you would like to donate plants for this year’s plant sale, please consider setting a few aside as the season starts. Happy gardening in the meantime!
