April 8, 2026 Meeting -Deer Management in North Carolina – Successes and Challenges

Please join us Wednesday, April 8 for our monthly meeting where our guest speaker will be James Tomberlin, Mountain Operations Supervisor for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Mr. Tomberlin will cover a brief history of deer in NC and an overview of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission’s deer management program, successes and challenges. He Will then talk about managing wildlife in the landscape.

• Indoor meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from September-April. 

• Doors open at 6:30 pm with refreshments and meetings begin at 7:00 pm.
