February 11, 2026 Meeting -A Discussion of Non-Native Invasive Plant Defense and Strategies in the High Country with Mountain True’s Emma Crider
Please join us Wednesday, February 11 for our monthly meeting where our guest speaker, Emma Crider, of mountain true will be speaking on her past and current collaborative projects involving the eradication of various invasive plants like Japanese Knotweed, Garlic Mustard, Oriental Bittersweet, and Multiflora Rose around Watauga County. Holding an applicator license with NCDA&CS, she works on public lands year-round, hosting both public and private workdays to organize community members to action; while also showcasing other unique ways we can utilize these pesky plants.
