Amy Tipton, Assistant Director of the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens, will lead us through the glorious fall colors found on native trees in the Van Landingham Glen. Species that will be encountered include:

Bigleaf Magnolia (look at those enormous leaves!)
Black Gum & Sourwood (Color ablaze!)
Several species of Oaks and Hickories (Talk about mast!)
Silverbell, Bald cypress, Pawpaw, Sassafras, and more!

This hike is for NCNPS members only. Walks will be limited in size. Pets are not allowed.

Hikes will only proceed with 5 or more participants registered by 5 PM, 2 days prior to the hike.
