Spring Wildflower Tour

The Central Coastal Plain Chapter is hosting a Wildflower Walk in the Croatan National Forest, this Saturday, April 30, 2022.
Andy Walker, an ecologist and botanist with the US Forest Service, will be our expert guide.
This event is open to NCNPS members and their invited guests.

Location: Haywood Landing Recreation Area Boat Landing/Parking Lot (off Hwy 58 between Cape Carteret and Maysville). There is a sign for Haywood Landing on Hwy 58. After you turn off of 58 onto the gravel road (Long Point Rd.), travel 430 feet and take the first right turn (on to Loopy Rd) and follow that gravel road for 2 miles, where you will take another right (on to Haywood Landing Rd) which will take you to the boat landing/parking area.   It isn’t hard to find, but there isn’t much signage once you are on the gravel.
