“My place has undergone a significant transformation since 2018, starting with the planting strip next to the street carrying through to other areas on my 1/3-acre property. About 100 native plants have been incorporated into the planting beds. Recent additions include a Black Gum (Nyssa sylvatica ‘Wildfire’) and Carolina Silverbell (Halesia Carolina).”

There’s also plants like the Silver Gem prostrate blue violet (Viola walteri ‘Silver Gem’), Pussytoes (Antennaria plantaginifolia), Bellwort (Uvularia grandiflora), and much more! Metal pieces and blue pottery can be found throughout the beds.”

My garden was certified as a Native Plant Habitat by NCNPS in 2021.”
