NCNPS Central Coastal Plain Chapter’s Native Plant Swap & Share!
This event is open to members of the NC Native Plant Society.
All plants:
- Must be free of pests and disease and in as good a condition as possible.
- Should be in individual containers, i.e., nursery pots, paper cups, etc.
- Should be individually labeled with the botanical name and common name, such as Lonicera sempervirens/ Coral Honeysuckle (if you cannot find the botanical names for your plants, someone will help you with this when you arrive)
- Should be labeled with your name so the recipient knows the plant’s source.
Please come even if you do not have plants to swap/share. There will be extra plants from participants and native plants remaining from the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners Plant Sale (scheduled for 4/9/22). A modest donation to the Master Gardeners will provide you with plants to swap/share or take home.
Location: The Lenoir County Center – Cooperative Extension Office Greenhouse. 1791 Hwy 11/55 Kinston, NC 28504. Go to the parking lot behind the building.
