Plant ID hike at Big Ridge Overlook on the Parkway

Wildflower Hike
Come and hike with us and practice you plants id skills. We will be on a hike on the Mts to Sea Trail, starting at Big Ridge OverLook.
We will park at the Big Ridge Overlook, milepost 403.6 on the Parkway, South of the Parkway entrance at the Arboretum.
We will hike 1 mile on the Mts to the Sea Trail and walk back along the Parkway. Bring water, hat, walking shoes, and a pole if you use one, along with your ID skills. If you have I Naturalist bring your phone. Also bring a hand lens if you have one, binoculars can be useful to see plants at the distance.
If you want to bring a lunch, we will lunch together at the Big Ridge Parking lot at the end of the hike.
Please carpool as you can as parking is limited. There will be plenty to see!
