Field Trip to Historic Yates Mill County Park, Raleigh
We’ll meet at the start of the boardwalk that crosses the lake (near the parking lot) and explore the woods and wetlands across the lake, ending at the historic mill and the exhibits in the nature center. We can also take a look at the native plantings Wake County has used around the building and parking lot – great to see Wake County taking this approach to landscaping!
