Field Trip: Raven Rock State Park, Lillington

We’ll explore Raven Rock State Park on the Raven Rock Loop Trail, a walk on the ridge through hardwoods and along a small stream overhung with mountain laurel, with a stop midway to descend the cliff (via flights of wooden steps) to the Cape Fear River.  Hoping for some fall foliage, but the park is beautiful at any time of year.
