March, 2024 Monthly Meeting – “NC’s Native Plants Bill: Growing a Native Plants Movement”

Please join us for the March, 2024 monthly meeting to hear from Ben Graham, Engagement Director of the NC The Audubon Society speaking about the “NC’s Native Plants Bill: Growing a Native Plants Movement”.

Audubon staff will discuss the path to passing North Carolina’s most ambitious native plants bill yet and what the implications are for birds. We’ll cover the progress made on native plants in our state leading up to the bill’s passage and what the bill means for nurseries, landscapers, and everyone who wants to make their own yards and communities more bird-friendly.

Our monthly meeting will be held on March 13th at the Holiday Inn Express, 1943 Blowing Rock Road in Boone. The meeting room will open at 6:30 and we’ll start the meeting at 7:00.
