Eno Confluence Natural Area Field Trip
This is a relatively new 270-acre preserve owned by the Eno River Association, located at the confluence of the east and west forks of the Eno River. On our December 2021 field trip we were thrilled by the terrain, outcrops, creeks, big trees and little evergreen treasures (Hepatica, wild ginger, puttyroot orchids etc) so we’re making another winter visit.
