Protecting Our Waterways: A Look at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services

Our waterways are vital to the health of our community, wildlife and everyday life in Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Join us for a look at how Storm Water Services works to protect and improve local streams and creeks from understanding how storm drains carry pollutants to our waterways, to highlighting a recent project in Chantilly that’s making a difference. We’ll also share ways you can be part of the solution through volunteer opportunities and show how to stay connected as we work together to protect our waterways for generations to come.

Marissa Barrett, as the Mecklenburg County Water Quality Educator, wears many hats and is responsible for public outreach and education. She shares stormwater knowledge with the entire community.
