NATIVE SEED SWAP & SHARE (& HOLIDAY SOCIAL)

Make plans to attend the Central Coastal Plain Chapter’s Native Seed Swap & Share and Holiday Social.

WHEN: Saturday, December 13, 2024
10:00am – noon (Native Seed Swap & Share)
Noon – 1:00 pm (Holiday Social)

WHO:  Event is open to NCNPS members and their guests; Bring native seeds to swap if you are able, but please do attend even if you have none to donate; there should be plenty to share

Include as much information as possible: Common and Latin names, month/ year harvested, other details (i.e. do not allow to dry out, keep refrigerated, etc).

SEED PREPARATION:

• Donate only seeds from native plants, as clean as possible
• Divide and package seeds before you arrive.abel each seed packet with plant’s common and botanical names and your initials, i.e. American Beautyberry/Callicarpa americana, CP
• If you are not able to divide/label seeds prior to the swap, when you arrive, there will be an area where you can do so, and someone to help. We are all learning!
