Triad Seed Swap at Hagan Stone Park

The Triad Seed Swap is on December 3rd at 6:00pm at the Hagan Stone Park ARC building (5920 Hagan-Stone Park Road
Pleasant Garden, NC 27313). The seed swap will begin around 6:30pm.

Let’s have refreshments! Please bring food or drink to share. With this event being at the park we will be able to do homemade foods this year.

Many members are tremendously knowledgeable about saving and planting native seeds, so it’s a great opportunity to learn!  We are big on winter sowing, and hope everyone will grow more native plants!

Native seeds should be cleaned and brought in small sizes, such as envelopes, and labeled with common and botanical names, as well as any special planting instructions, as best you can.

Growing from seed keeps our plant populations healthy through diversity, not to mention having plenty of new plants to use on your own property or to share with others. Seed distribution takes place after the program, ending when all seeds are taken.

This program is free and open to the public, all are welcome!

Please participate even if you don’t have any seeds to offer, as there are always plenty to share. However, bringing seeds will give you an opportunity to select some seeds first. Hope to see you there!
