Chapter Meeting October 2025 – Volunteer Work Day
Join us for a hands-on workday at Reedy Creek Nature Center Native Garden!
Spend a few hours elbow-deep in natives on a beautiful day in October.
This workday is in appreciation to Reedy Creek Nature Center for allowing us to use their classroom for our programs.
Needed work is weeding, digging up non-native ground cover, spreading mulch. Also needed is digging up numerous Beautyberry seedlings. Volunteers may take the seedlings home, so bring a plastic bag or pot them up – Kendra at the Center can provide some pots and soil.
Wear work clothes that can get dirty, sturdy work shoes and gloves. Please bring your favorite weeding or digging tools.
