Umstead State Park – Crabtree Creek field trip (Raleigh, NC)

We will enter from the new Crabtree Greenway parking lot on Ebenezer Church Rd and botanize in the woods along Crabtree Creek.  The area looked to have lots of spring interest when we explored last fall. (The trail bridge across Crabtree Creek is unusable currently with no access to trails on the north side so we will have to stay south of the creek – in beautiful beech woods.)
