Oconee Bell Chapter “Bells and Brews” Meet-up to see Oconee Bell Blossoms
Join us to see blooming Oconee Bells in Cashiers NC. The blossoms are beautiful, so come prepared to take photos. This photo was taken beside her driveway by a member of our chapter Steering Committee, Sally Price, whose seed of inspiration got us started launching our new Chapter of a native plant society.

WHO: Sally Price, our host, is a landscape designer with another home in Birmingham. Sally is inviting local native plant enthusiasts to join us at her cottage.
- Sally Price is a Master Gardener (Jefferson County, AL)
- Founding Member of our chapter Steering Committee
- Volunteers at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens since 1988 in various different capacities but mainly propagating plants for their plant sales
- Completed the Certificate of Native Plant Studies
- Is working on a beautification project for the Sheep Laurel Homeowners Association
- Has experience with plant rescues in Alabama and the Cashiers area
WHAT: See Sally’s early spring garden
- At our “Bells and Brews” meetup, get to know other local native plant enthusiasts
- Photograph a garden that is registered as a Monarch Waystation and Certified Wildlife Habitat
WHEN: From 5-7 pm on Wednesday March 27.
- We will meet at the “Oconee Bells” cottage in our high altitude temperate rainforest region in Cashiers, NC.

WHERE: Meet at Sally’s cottage in a High Hampton neighborhood just south of the Cashiers Crossroads and west of HWY 107.
