Evolution of a Conservation Garden – History of the Margaret Reid Wild Flower Garden (Zoom and In Person)

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The presentation traces the evolution of this native plant / rescue /conservation garden from 1943 till now.  50+ years under Margaret Reid and almost 30 since then (really?!). You’ll also get a preview of early spring, a quick tour of the garden and see some of the native plants that bloom there, many descending from plants rescued by Mrs. Reid from development sites in the Triangle.

Leaf & Limb is generously sharing their meeting space with us so we can meet in-person.  We’ll also have a zoom link available. Open to all but registration required at:

https://northcarolinanativeplantsociety.wildapricot.org/event-5595573   Select In-person or Zoom option when registering.

Zoom link will be sent out to those registered closer to the meeting date.

The event is finished.
