We Advocate for Native Plants at Nursery & Landscape’s Green & Growin’ Event

NCNPS volunteers shared resources and educational conference materials with industry professionals at the NC Nursery & Landscape Association annual event.

Every year the NCNPS advocates for native plants at the largest green industry event in the southeast, Green & Growin’ sponsored by the NC Nursery & Landscape Association in Greensboro. NCNPS volunteers were Amy Mackintosh, Diane Laslie, Dan Walker, Ann Walter-Fromson, and Adam Webb.

This year the Green & Growin’ keynote speaker was Kim Eierman, who recognized the NC Native Plant Society and encouraged the audience to visit the booth and become members. Eierman of EcoBeneficial spoke on “Taking Landscapes to the Next Level: From Leveraging Ecosystem Services to Changing Cultural Norms.”
