The inflorescence is a panicle is made up of several small corymbs of 2-5 flowerheads. Each flowerhead consist of many overlapping bracts that are white or cream-colored. The disc flower parts in the center of the flowerhead are yellow to brownish in color (can't yet see in this picture). The bracts eventually spread out and fall off as the seed ripens.

The sessile linear leaves with wavy margins, are alternately arranged on the whitish green stems which are covered with appressed woolly hairs. The lower surface of the leaves also have white hairs.
