Habitat Description:

Sandhills, sandy roadsides. (NC counties: Bladen, Brunswick*, Cumberland, Pender). Uncommon in NC Coastal Plain. Strongly declining over the past several decades. Limited to just 5-10 sites now, and many of these are in very poor condition. Most current sites in western Pender County. This is a Signficantly Rare species.
