Habitat Description:

Beaches, dune blowouts, fore-dunes. Scattered along the immediate coast, north to Ocracoke Island in Hyde County. There are collections only from Brunswick County, but sightings from New Hanover, Onslow, Carteret, and Hyde counties. Rare along the coast to Carteret County, and very rare to Hyde County. This is a State Threatened species.
