DESCRIPTION:\nVolunteers and friends of the Oconee Bell Chapter will once again gather mosses and ferns from the Edward Baker Preserve before the pine grove is converted into a high altitude wildflower meadow. The Edward Baker Preserve is a Highlands Cashiers Land Trust property that is open to the public just north of Cashiers at Kettle Creek Road. There is a liability waiver so to attend this free event, participants MUST sign up by clicking on the “Register” link below.\nWHEN: June 12, Friday, 3:00-5:00 PM\nWHAT: Jessica Blackburn of the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust has once again welcomed our help with the VERY POPULAR fern and moss rehoming projects that we did in October and March.
