DESCRIPTION:Please join us April 9, 2025  for a webinar by Sara Weaner: “Transitioning from Lawn to Meadow without Spray, Turf Removal, or Plastic”. Sara is the Executive Director of New Directions in the American Landscape (NDAL), an educational organization founded in 1990 by her father, Larry Weaner. The viewing will be followed by a live question and answer session via Zoom. Larry authored the highly acclaimed book “Garden Revolution: How Our Landscapes Can Be a Source of Environmental Change” with Thomas Christopher in 2016.\n\n\nIndoor meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from September-April.\n\n\nDoors open at 6:30 pm with refreshments and meetings begin at 7:00 pm.\n\n\nMeetings are held at:  Blue Ridge Energy2491 US Hwy 421 S, Boone, NC 28607\n\n\n
