DESCRIPTION:Basil Camu of Leaf & Limb will give us a presentation about Project Pando – “A Community Driven Model to Help Heal Local Ecology” and show us how they are growing trees at their office. \nBasil will also talk a bit about their new “Piedmont Prairies” service –establishing meadows of native grasses and flowers in place of lawns.\nProject Pando is a volunteer-driven effort to collect seeds from wild, native trees and then raise those seeds into saplings to give away to the public for free.
