Now this is a bit different!

Note the whorl of 6 leaves. The color was so odd that identification was a puzzle. Mark Rose, Triad Chapter member, identified Jean's plant:

It looks like a plant of whorled loosestrife that is in bud. Many times if the plant is in lots of light it will have the pinkish blush to the foliage. The blooms are a beautiful clear yellow. The botanical name is Lysimachia quadrifolia. Hope this helps! Mark
